High Reliability Schools Institute

Dates

multiple dates

Conference Description:

The High Reliability Schools (HRS) framework was developed to guide districts and schools in a successful school improvement process that is well-organized, coordinated, collective, and systemic. It encourages educators to concentrate their efforts on five key areas of operation: 1. Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture, 2. Effective Teaching in Every Classroom, 3. Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum, 4. Standards-Referenced Reporting, 5. Competency-Based Education.

Participants will network with expert practitioners who have led this work in their own schools and districts and have partnered with thousands of educators to implement the transformational HRS process. The program includes interactive breakout sessions, compelling keynotes, and time for teams and individuals to reflect and seek the advice of the presenters. For those just beginning to explore High Reliability Schools, this is an excellent way to build their knowledge base. For those already involved in deep implementation, this institute is the perfect opportunity to revisit goals, focus their work, introduce new team members to the process, and get answers to new questions.
